Our Art Group began life as a class run by Durham County Council Adult Learning & Skills Service (A.L.S.S.). When A.L.S.S. stopped running leisure courses, tutor Stan Errington agreed to continue running the group on an independent basis. Stan has now left and the group is self-sustaining. Many of the group have remained stalwarts for several years, and have held exhibitions of their work not only at the Centre, but also at County Hall in Durham.
Anyone who is interested in coming along to the group can just pop in on a Tuesday morning to have a chat , or alternatively contact Steve or Dee for more information.
