The Friday Afternoon Bingo Club has been running for over two years, and started life as a way for people to get together for a cuppa and a chat, with maybe a couple of games of bingo thrown in. We suggested the club after a chance remark from one of our customers about the "dark days" when it didn't seem worth leaving the house… it seems that the FAB Club has given plenty of people a reason to come out, even on the darkest days! There's sometimes more bingo than cuppas, but still plenty of chat (and they have brilliant Christmas parties). Oh, and usually pies and cakes for when the tension of waiting for a number makes you hungry.

Subscriptions pay towards regular day trips and meals out. The group also operates a savings club, administered by the group.

The Club is now self-sustaining and so popular it has recently had to implement a waiting list, so anyone who would like to join needs to call in and leave their details with staff.
